Swim, Walk, and Tour Around Skokloster Castle

BONUS: CAN YOU FIND THE SJUSTASTENEN? THIS TREASUREHUNT CAN BE AN EXCITING SIDE QUEST DURING YOUR WALK AROUND THE AREA

Discover the perfect blend of history and nature at Skokloster Castle, located on the shores of Lake Mälaren. This venue combines cultural richness with natural beauty, offering a scenic environment where you and your dog can explore year-round. Enjoy a swim or play by the clean, spacious beaches with the castle as your backdrop. Explore diverse walking trails that wind through lush forests and open meadows, suitable for all fitness levels. While dogs are not allowed inside, the castle's grand Baroque façade and manicured gardens provide a feast for the eyes.

As an added adventure, embark on a mini treasure hunt to find the Sjukustasten – it is a runestone with inscriptions from the late 11th century. Although we have marked the stone on the map, it can be hard to find. Good luck!
